Conclusion
During the later years of Wes Unseld's professional career, he and his wife Connie Unseld opened Unseld's School, a private school. After spending 13 years in the NBA, Wes Unseld decided to retire. Shortly after his retirement the Washington Bullets organization honored Wes Unseld by retiring his jersey number 41. In 1988, Wes reached the pinnacle of professional basketball, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He also received the honor of being named on of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players of all time in 1996. After his retirement, Wes became the Vice President, then he became the head coach. After his tenure of being head coach, Wes Unseld became the General Manger of the organization. As of right now, Wes is working with the school he and his wife began.
